Drifting mods are tough to come by, and don’t feature as much on sites like RaceDepartment, but if you can get a few of these installed into your sim, you’ll have an absolute blast. While the list of high-quality drifting mods isn’t as extensive for Assetto Corsa, there are some real gems out there to download. Assetto Corsa Competizione tends to focus more on serious racing, and is more advanced. In comparison to Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa offers a real-world feel but fails to convey the finer points of actual driving. Just be wary of those walls – they are going to bite you if you get into them! There are often overlaps between the players of each, but each has advantages and disadvantages.

It’s another high-quality mod from RaceDepartment that is not only great for drifting, but also for a bit of banger racing as well. On top of that, there is a cool figure-of-eight circuit, which is perfect for drifting. This is a great blend of sports cars from different continents, and hopefully one that you will enjoy with plenty of drifting. Has good graphics, physics, force feedback, and unique cars and tracks you wont find in most racing sims. Japanese cars are the popular choice, but who’s to say that you can’t get drifting in a Mustang or a BMW? Enjoy both, but IMO Assetto Corsa is more realistic. With high horsepower and some fun physics, the 240SX is one of the most awesome Japanese drifters available in the game. Drifting mods are certainly harder to come by for Assetto Corsa, but this is one of the best.
